Paris, the City of Light, is an inspiring place, notably for painters of all persuasions. WICE's Painting Studio class meets weekly throughout the year. It offers practical hands on instruction, engaging creative assignments and lively group discussions about what's happening in town at the museums and galleries.

If you've longed to try your hand at painting, come join other friendly, hard-working members of WICE to meet with Jan Olsson in her spacious, modern studio near the Seine. You'll quickly feel at home, challenged, and encouraged to adventure into the rich world of color. Learn to paint while immersed in the bright creative buzz of a working artist's space. Over snacks with tea and coffee, Jan and her students exchange ideas about paintings in progress. Jan's personal library of images is also available for consultation.

With or without prior experience, you'll be led through an individually tailored course of study that is structured enough to provide all the basics of the craft, yet free enough to allow experimentation and discovery. Plan to sign-up early and attend throughout the year for the best learning experience. However, when your calendar requires and by advance notice, pro-rata rates are available for those who are unable to attend every class.
