The Paris Writers' Workshop (PWW) has been WICE’s flagship creative writing program for over 20 years. Held in Paris every two years it is taught by distinguished and award winning faculty. We had one of our most successful workshops in 2018 and hope to repeat this accomplishment in 2020. Places will be limited to 12, so register early to ensure your participation!
The PWW Writing will be held July 5-10, 2020. All participants are invited to read their work at a lovely bookshop, enjoy an opening reception at WICE, join in our panel discussion topic focused on Women Writes/Rights and Cultural Appropriation and to meet over a closing cocktail at a Parisian restaurant.
- Sunday afternoon -- Reception at WICE.
- Monday - Friday -- Expert workshop classes by 5 instructors at Forum 104 and one class at WICE (classes in the morning and readings, talks and panel discussions in the afternoon and evening).
- Tuesday evening -- a Reading at Red Wheelbarrow Bookstore.
- Friday evening -- a Gala Dinner for Registrants and Instructors
Paris has seen a proliferation of writing conferences and workshops, but WICE’s Paris Writers Workshop is the original event for writers in the French capital, with a record of quality going back 25 years. We are a non-profit association proud to keep its workshop affordable and insist on a teaching format in which students are given the greatest individual attention. We hope to see you this July!
