Created by UNIFAB (French Union of Manufacturers), located in a private mansion in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the museum of counterfeiting was initiated as a didactic museum to make people aware of counterfeiting in any fields, and its impact on the international economy.

Would you like to be able to spot the differences between a true and a fake sculpture of Rodin?  What about textiles, pens or perfumes?  This is your chance to learn more about the importance of intellectual property and the legal sanctions that can be generated by selling and buying fake products.

Come and discover with our guide, Catherine, this unique museum.

About the Guide:

Catherine Estivalezes holds a PhD in British and American Studies from the Sorbonne and has been involved for years in a foundation for promoting contemporary art, before getting back into Art History studies.  She has several years of experience in guiding, including districts, monuments, museums, and temporary exhibitions.  She also coordinates several tours all over Europe.
