Join us for our first ever Market Tour & Tasting Class!

If you live in Paris, then you have the opportunity to shop in open markets where you can find fresh, organic and often local ingredients almost every morning of the week. Would you like to be a bit more market savy?

WICE's Chef Randal Price will be our guide on this tour of the Marché de Grenelle, located in the 15th arrondisement. He knows it well from years of living nearby.

We will visit many of the vendors and talk about what's fresh and in season - fruits, vegetables, fish, cheese and more. 

We will also buy a variety of good things to eat and then enjoy a light tasting of what we have bought back at the WICE Office.  And continue our discussions about all things food and Paris markets. 

Please wear comfortable shoes. This class will take place, rain or shine.  Fortunately, the market is covered by the elevated metro rail.

About the Instructor: Chef Randall Price will share with us his passion for French cuisine, drawing on his 25 years of experience cooking France for heads of state and working as Chef-Instructor at the professional Paris cooking school, Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne. His entertaining style, easy-to-follow demonstrations and focus on classic techniques will inspire you to reproduce dishes at home.
