Don’t miss this occasion to think big and create small. Persian or Indian miniatures, or illuminated biblical manuscripts, evoke worlds of wonder as grand as they are small.
Learn how to use pen, colored inks, collage and watercolor to create a series of works on paper small enough to put in an envelope and mail to a friend or family member for the holidays.

Students will be encouraged to choose a theme then collect some of their own reference materials (photographs, favorite objects, cut-outs from magazines or other media sources) to use as inspiration. Register early and begin collecting! The rest is pure fun and a creative adventure.

A 15€ supply fee is included in the price of the class.

Course Requirements: Suitable for all levels.

About the Instructor: Prior to settling in Paris, Jan Olsson was awarded the Professional Fellowship in Painting from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.  Her paintings have been exhibited in Paris’ most competitive juried exhibitions and are included in both private and museum collections.
