This course explores the theory and practise of short film production as it applies to the creation of a short fictional film. The course will include planning, shooting and editing the film. Please note that the second session will be at an outdoor location for the shooting of the film footage.

A prior knowledge of basic video shooting and editing techniques (or completion of the WICE Short Film Production with a Mobile Phone course) is recommended.

Classes are designed and targeted for beginners. Everyone can begin their first steps into film production. Anyone is welcome, especially those coming from photography, painting or Visual Arts backgrounds.

Participants will have the opportunity to have their films shown at a 'World Premiers' WICE event.

Instructor: Nica Junker is an accomplished film maker, photographer and lecturer in photography and film with International publications and expositions.

She studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, HFF Konrad Wolf, University College Dublin, Leipzig University and the Sorbonne.
