Kathleen Churchill's work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and The Best American Essays 2020, and has appeared in anthologies and literary journals including The Best of Wanderlust 2020, Charles River ReviewPandemic Diaries, A Journal of the Plague Year, and The Best Travel Writing: True stories from around the world. Excerpts from her new manuscript The Baybery: A true story of ghosts, faeries, and a restaurant at the edge of the world have been awarded the Solas Gold Award for Best Women’s Travel Writing, first place in the Writers’ Workshop of Asheville Memoir Competition, and first Place in The National League of American Pen Women’s Soul-Making Keats Literary Competition. Kathleen divides her time between New England and Paris, where she teaches, writes, and serves as Vice-President of the Board of Directors for WICE-Paris.
