Volunteering positions require obtaining WICE membership. Membership in the association is required for all levels of participation. However, new volunteers receive a 50% discount on their first adhesion, and will be renewed free of charge as long as they remain active in the association. The Language Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating WICE language courses working to ensure a coordinated, quality program of languages courses to our members.
A time commitment of 5 hours per week, with an additional 5 hours per week during peak periods is necessary. Most work can be from home but it is necessary to go to the office on occasion.

Do you want to master new technical skills and volunteer to support a diverse non-profit organisation?
The IT team at WICE are looking for new members to help us with our daily management of our IT systems as well as using technology as part of a wide variety of new projects. Whilst experience in IT of any kind is a bonus it is by no means necessary. All we require of our volunteers are to have everyday computer knowledge, a willingness to learn new skills and a minimum of 5 hours work a week. Full training will be provided.

EMT with working French, organized, autonomous, responsible administrative candidate to work directly with the WICE Office Manager on core business functions, including confidential database and financial operations. Special projects as required. GDPR training will be provided. Occasional event support is requested. Google suite knowledge required. WICE Programs Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities in the six WICE departments: Creative Writing, Cultural Studies, Languages, Living in France, Paris Walks & Visits and Visual Arts
WICE is seeking a volunteer to work within the Programs Team and support and guide the individual WICE Program Directors Primary Tasks:
● Various administrative duties (monitoring email, course registrations)
● Assist with:
o Organizing the bi-annual creation of program courses
o Scheduling courses
o Loading course information onto the WICE website
o Compiling, analysing and creating presentations of Programs results
● Facilitating communication among Program departments and between Programs and other WICE departments
Time Commitment: 5 hours per week, with an additional 5 hours per week required during the peak course creation time of Spring and Fall Start Date: Immediate Start with a minimum committment of 12 months required
We are seeking discussion group facilitators in, English, French and Spanish!
You will work as a team with other facilitators leading the group once every two or three weeks.
Select an interesting topic for the group to discuss and then guide a discussion by asking questions and ensuring an environment where group members feel comfortable expressing themselves. Help group members expand their cultural and language knowledge by providing cultural insights and clarification on vocabulary, slang, and pronunciation to help advanced students gain fluency and speaking confidence in a fun and relaxed environment.
In addition to our traditional groups that meet in our classroom, we are also anticipating creating on-line discussion groups that would allow you to volunteer for this role without leaving home
The Living in France Department delivers a program of activities that enhance the experience of living in France for people both new to Paris and those who want to delve deeper into the City’s secrets. Through the provision of a program of practical courses such as cooking and wine tasting, plus courses that range from hands-on workshops to behind the scenes tours on such topics as perfume making and fashion, participants can learn how to master the French art of “savoir vivre.” You will work with our team of very experienced providers who continue to strive to improve the living in France experience for our WICE members.
The Accounting Assistant works closely with the WICE Treasurer to import financial data into Quickbooks on a weekly basis (2 hours a week in the WICE Office). Training on internal systems will be provided. Previous experience with Quickbooks is required.
The WICE team is seeking a number of enthusiastic marketing volunteers to work on specific projects through the summer and autumn months. Active engagement in a range of responsibilities, including assisting in all aspects of the Marketing Communication implementation to support direct response marketing and brand strategies; supporting the senior staff in the development of language course marketing campaigns and media placement activities; and assisting in the development and project management of Open House and Apero evenings. A great way to get hands on experience in a busy, lively marketing team.
We are looking for a dynamic person who is passionate about art and culture and who can volunteer their time to developing and managing the Cultural Studies department. Ideally, the volunteer candidate has worked in the arts in France and has developed a network of professionals in various fields covering art and culture that they can leverage. The position requires someone who likes a good challenge, is creative, and who can volunteer time to develop new program ideas and bring them to fruition.
This is a new and exciting opening with WICE to manage new incoming partnership requests and to develop relationships with other groups about forming partnerships. Fluent French and English is required for this opening, as is a willingness to network.
