We want to give a special nod this month to Mary Jo Padgett and David O’Brien for their outstanding work they both did before and during our month-long fundraiser: The American Revolution in Paris.

The American Revolution in Paris was a seven-event series of walks and talks led by Mary Jo that centered around activities in Paris during and after the American Revolution. Making that happen smoothly involved significant planning and coordination of administrative and logistics aspects that far exceeded those required of normal WICE activities. David O’Brien, our Walks, Talks, and Tours Program Director, handled that aspect of the fundraiser flawlessly, and Mary Jo agreed to add a second walk each week to meet the unexpected demand. This is the third year we’ve organized this event, and between Mary Jo and David they made it the most successful one yet. Well done, the two of you!

WICE is an all-volunteer organization, and it’s through the efforts of volunteers like Mary Jo and David that we’re able to provide the number of actitivies and support to members that we do. Please take a look and think about joining . . .
