Course Description

To continue the series of Fearless Photography, a follow-up Saturday workshop is being offered for photographers who would like to continue to build their technical and creative skills. This one-day workshop will provide you with a review of the basics of the camera controls via fun practical scenarios and will add the important elements of metering, exposure, white balance, editing, cropping, and composition.

You'll get hands-on practice with creative assignments as we take to the streets of the Île St Louis. You'll have time to talk with class participants about the challenges of photography as we take a break at a local bistro for lunch. You'll gain valuable insight about your own work and your fellow photographers' as we discuss images from each participant.

Please Note: The lunch price is not included in the course fee.

Students can expect to:
  • Become familiar with exposure, metering, and other technical controls available on your camera
  • Learn about composition, cropping, editing
  • Review the camera’s potential as an artistic tool
  • Participate in a friendly critique session of their work
Course Requirements
  • Suitable for beginner levels of photographers and those wishing to review their skills
