WICE is a 270-member, all-volunteer, non-profit association based in Paris, France. We welcome English-speaking members from all countries, religions, genders, and personal beliefs. We do not promote any particular political party or philosophy and encourage our members to express themselves with tolerance and respect for others. WICE's charter under Association Loi 1901 is to develop bi-lingual, cross-cultural programs that serve Anglophone and Francophone communities. It provides members a wide array of learning and volunteer opportunities centered on languages, creative writing and literature, photography and visual arts, and other program areas. Our activities include online and in-person language classes; weekly bilingual conversation groups; French and American film studies; a bilingual book group; workshops in writing and photography; monthly apéros; summer picnics, and winter holiday parties. |
