The Palais Royal district overflows with charming covered walkways, (Galerie Vivienne, Galerie des Deux Pavillons), with refined boutiques showcasing designers' works, and classical and contemporary architectural masterpieces illustrating the urban evolution of Paris. You will be introduced to and hear the stories of cutting edge designers, some world famous, and some beginning to make a name for themselves.
The Les Halles district, formerly “Paris's belly,” is still occupied by talented bakers, cheesemakers and butchers who share this district with trendy boutiques. Today this district is under re-construction with the spectacular Canopy developing, becoming the new entrance of Les Halles Commercial Center.
The district of Le Marais is full of surprises: at the corner of a hidden garden we will discover boutiques housed in former courtyards of French mansions or former factories. Le Marais is proof that Paris can stay a historical city on the cutting edge of design and innovations.
