It is always rewarding to capture the perfect moment in a perfectly composed and exposed photograph. However, these days, you also have access to the creative world of post-production, adding to the artistic mastery of your final photograph.
Who hasn’t wanted to remove that tree growing out of your child’s head or an ugly wall socket in an otherwise perfect photo, or even those ubiquitous Paris white vans that seem to appear unexpectedly in your pictures? You can remove these and many other unwanted objects or even move and add objects to your photographs.
Join us for this introduction to Photoshop, with a focus on the magic of the Clone, Eraser, and Contrast tools, conversion to black and white, sizing options, and a range of artistic filters and coloring tools. There will be in-class hands-on exercises as well as home assignments. We will end the class with a friendly critique of images.
Students can expect to:
Become familiar with the basic tools of Photoshop Elements
Move their work in new creative directions
Participate in a friendly critique session of their work
Course Requirements:
Suitable for all levels of photographers
