For those who love to draw or paint, or for those who would like to experience how a beloved artist worked so as to better understand the sources of his inspiration, this class follows the path Matisse used to forge line and color into joyfully vibrant compositions.
Class activities and instruction will include:
Enjoy supportive instruction and the congenial atmosphere of a small group as we meet in the relaxed, inspiring atmosphere of the artist’s spacious studio overlooking the Eiffel Tower and the André Citroën Park in the 15th.
The price of this class includes a 20€ materials fee, which includes all materials except brushes. A shopping list will be available on request from WICE or from the instructor after registration.
Suitable for all levels.
About the Instructor: Prior to settling in Paris, Jan Olsson was awarded the Professional Fellowship in Painting from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Her paintings have been exhibited in Paris’ most competitive juried exhibitions and are included in both private and museum collections. Visit her professional website and teaching blog.
