“Drawing and color are not distinct. Everything in nature is colored.” Paul Cézanne
April blossoms bring color back to Paris after a long grey winter. This spring drawing and painting class looks to Cézanne’s watercolors of flowers and fruits as subjects for inspiration.
Activities in this class will include:
• Study of Cézanne’s watercolors and still-life compositions
• Drawing from simple floral or fruit arrangements with an eye for capturing the essence of a subject.
• Observing color harmonies in nature and practice mixing colors
• Creating Cezanne inspired watercolor compositions from life
A 15€ supply fee is included in the cost of this course. All materials are provided. Open to all levels.
