Our wine instructor loves good wine. He wears his passion in plain view … for all to see. He also appreciates the different personalities of wines--the terroirs, cépages, and producers. So, when he says that the greatest white wines in the world are German Riesling--we listen.

Sadly, the wine still suffers from damage done to it by mass marketing when the word Riesling became synonymous with “sweet,” just as Chablis became synonymous with dry. Ah, the pain that lies inflict. The reality is that great German Riesling (not always sweet!) is unsurpassed by any other white wine in terms of complexity and finesse. Join us for this special evening of delicious Rieslings and decide for yourself. Sign up early as the imported bottles for this tasting were very hard to obtain, making this a rare treat indeed in the heart of Paris.

Instructor:  Thomas Boothe’s, extensive knowledge and passion for wine and his innovative teaching style have been fueled through work and study in a variety of wine-related fields.
