Join French-trained Pastry Chef Lisa Allen in an inspired half-day of tart-making fun! She will guide you through a fully immersive, hands-on experience creating your own French tarts. This month's tart will be The Bourdaloue, a baked pear and almond tart. You will visit a local market to source the fruit, then bake it all from scratch in Lisa’s quaint Parisian apartment.
Coffee, tea or hot chocolate will be available to get your hands going! Taste your creations ‘sur place’ or receive a box to take your treats home.
About the Instructor: Chef Lisa Arielle Allen is an American pâtissière, with an extremely sweet set of teeth! Throughout her life, she has enjoyed making surrounding lives sweeter with homemade treats. Now fully trained and certified by the esteemed Ferrandi école de gastronomie, with additional training in 5-star and Michelin-starred kitchens, the Callebaut Chocolate Academy, and Edwart Chocolatier (among others), she is excited to share with you her love, passion and knowledge for French pastry and chocolate!
