This new course is designed to allow students to pursue an independent project at their own pace over a two-month period. The initial class will include a review of students’ current work and proposed theme, with feedback and suggestions for successful completion of the project. The final class will allow for the presentation of the work and friendly class critique, as well as recommendations for next steps in the sharing the project, such as securing an exhibition, pursuing book or magazine publication, entering competitions, or creating an internet presentation.

Students can expect to:

  • Learn to create a project plan and artist statement
  • Hone their skills in selecting their best work for the project
  • Receive feedback on their project theme and their images
  • Learn methods for promoting a finished project

Course Requirements: Suitable for all levels of photographers.
