Enjoy session 3 of 3 Online Pilates classes this June

Three sessions of Pilates exercises are being graciously offered through Zoom by WICE member and Pilates teacher Anne Campbell-Crawford. Developed by Joseph Pilates, a hospital orderly whose breathing techniques helped and even saved interned soldiers during World War I, Pilates principles will be explained and demonstrated by Anne, following which participants will be encouraged to try out some standing exercises for balance and coordination. The actual matwork will then take place with the option of being supervised by Anne for those who turn on their videos. Time will be allotted for answering questions.

Basic equipment is a yoga mat and a band or, as substitutes, a towel laid on a carpet and stretchy tights.

About the instructor

Anne has been teaching Pilates in Paris since 2009, before which she trained as a dancer and a choreographer, performing and teaching ballet in both the U.K and the U.S.

This will be host using the Zoom conferencing tool.
