In these sessions, participants will dive into the world of chocolate and build a personalized chocolate tree from scratch, using fine single origin chocolate and freshly roasted nuts. Work alone or with a partner to create your very own tree! Each tree goes home in a beautiful transparent box with ribbon, to enjoy at home or offer as a gift. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to get your hands dirty! This is a truly Do It Yourself experience. Suitable for participants 12 years and older working alone, or children from 8 years old working with an adult.
About the Instructor: Chef Lisa Arielle Allen is an American pâtissière, with an extremely sweet set of teeth! Throughout her life, she has enjoyed making surrounding lives sweeter with homemade treats. After a long, successful career as an International Arts Educator, Lisa is now fully trained in French Pastry by the esteemed Ferrandi école de gastronomie, with additional training in Michelin-starred kitchens, the Callebaut Chocolate Academy, Belloquet among others. Here in Paris she has been running Tarts & Truffles Culinary Consulting since 2017, and managing the DIY Atelier du Chocolat at Edwart Chocolatier since 2018. She is excited to share her love, passion and knowledge for French pastry and chocolate with you!
