This English course is for people with an advanced intermediate knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary or higher.

Participants will strengthen their knowledge in English grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening building upon existing skills. Emphasis will be given to developing conversational skills and building confidence in various types of interactions. A variety of topics and readings will be used to develop oral and written communication skills. This  course will be held in English once a week.

This course will be online due to current governmental guidelines for in person events. About the Instructor: Holly Runde holds an M.A. and PhD in French Studies from the University of Virginia, as well as a bachelor's degree from Vassar College in Philosophy. She has been teaching language, cinema, and culture courses to adult learners in the US and France for over 8 years.
