With "Apps for You" we introduce and review 1 - 2 smart phone applications we think may be pertinent to WICE members. This month we are reviewing a powerful language app, DeepL, that can help you improve your French or English.

Billed as "the world's most accurate translator," DeepL is an AI-powered language translator that can perform wonders with verbal and written translations in 29 languages (including French, of course). Whether you're translating formal French documents or trying to ask the butcher what that strange thing in the display case is, DeepL can usually easily take you through the process, both on the desktop and on your mobile.

This is free for WICE members, but registration is required. A Zoom link will be sent before the class.

About the Instructor

Rick Jones has a Masters of Science in Information Technology Management from George Washington University. Since graduating in 2002, he has held a number of technology development positions at various U.S. government and commercial organizations. He has been living in France since July 2018.
