One of the best ways to learn photography is to visit exhibitions and photo bookshops. A great place to start is a a visit to the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson. Join us as we view and discuss the exhibition RUTH ORKIN, BIKE TRIP, USA, 1939
From the Henri Cartier-Bresson Fondation website:
For the first time in France, the Henri Cartier-Bresson Fondation presents an exhibition entirely devoted to the American photographer Ruth Orkin (1921-1985). Internationally recognized for the photograph entitled American Girl in Italy (1951), an iconic image of a woman traveling alone, Ruth Orkin carried out a pioneering project when she was a teenager: crossing the Western United States in the East"
After the exhibition we will have a feedback session in a café.
