This session will feature a discussion, in English, of “The Treacle Walker”, shortlisted for the 2022 Booker Prize. a stunning work of fiction by Alan Garner, who is known for his exploration of myth, folklore, and the supernatural. The story centers around a young boy and his encounters with a mysterious figure named the Treacle Walker. 
Treacle Walker has been praised for its originality and poetic language. Garner, a respected figure in British literature, crafts tales that are deeply rooted in the landscape and folklore of Britain.
