Join us for an insightful visit to Saint-Germain Photo, one of Paris's most important photography festivals. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn about photography through the lens of professional photographer Juan Manuel Abellán.

We will explore contemporary photography exhibitions at various galleries within the Saint-Germain Photo festival and delve into the artists' work and its significance as we wander through the iconic Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. Our day will start with a visit to the first gallery in the morning, followed by a curated itinerary through the festival. After the exhibitions, we will gather at a nearby café or brasserie for a feedback session.

 About the festival:

 Every November, Photo Saint Germain brings together a wide array of museums, cultural centers, galleries, and bookstores for an eclectic photographic experience. Rooted in the historic and culturally rich district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this annual festival features both new exhibitions from galleries and institutions, and curated selections from the festival team. It brings together artists, collectors, publishers, critics, and curators to explore and discuss contemporary photography trends and their promotion.

About the Organizer

Juan Manuel Abellán is a professional fine art photographer and photography tutor based in Paris since 2007. He graduated in Advertising and Visual Arts and holds a Master in Art, Philosophy and Aesthetics, specializing in Photography and Contemporary Art. He has worked with the agency Magnum Photo and exhibited his work in several exhibitions, including the Centre Georges Pompidou. Passionate about photography, Juan Manuel works as a freelance photographer specializing in portrait, reportage and fine art photography. He also leads photography adventure tours around the world.
