A unique photography walking tour....

We are lucky to be in Paris and to have so many footsteps to follow on our creative path. It is often helpful to use the insight of others to inspire our own work. In this exploring class, we will wander the same streets as the Paris masters before us (Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau, Ronis, Lartigue, Atget, Boubat) and learn from their techniques.

We’ll start each class in a café of our chosen quartier to discuss the life and style of one of the masters. Then, we’ll explore the area, on a mission to really SEE the light, colors, characters, details, lines, forms, and shapes from our own perspective. You’ll get hands-on practice with your camera and have your technical questions answered on the spot. We’ll end each class (yes, at a café again!) reviewing the images from the previous week’s expedition to learn from our successes and challenges. Join us as we discover the REAL Paris via our own personal artistic perspective.
