A personal way of looking at the world and an emotional connection with what you are photographing are both key to a memorable photograph.
This course is designed for photographers who have some technical background (or have taken another WICE photo course before) so that we can focus on the development of the artistic technique in photography and the idea of creating a theme-based series of work.
The classes will include practical in-class exercises; visits to exhibitions; techniques for cropping, editing, and selecting the best photographs for presentation; review of basic post-production techniques and tackling assignments that challenge the creative soul. For the final project, the group will select a theme and publish a book of work.
