The Carnet de Voyage (sketchbook) opens the spring season by exploring the dynamics of Parisian life: its museums, cafés, city streets, and neighborhoods. Classes will meet at Paris sites and in the artist’s studio. Combining drawing lessons with photography and journaling, the Carnet de Voyage enhances your perception while you create an attractive and uniquely personal record of life’s every day adventures.

This session continues the Carnet de Voyage series, adding an introduction to selecting and using various papers, pencils, charcoals, pens, markers, inks, and yes, even erasers.  Guidance will be provided to choose the right supplies even if the names are in French.

This course welcomes beginners and practiced artists who want to review and enhance their techniques...and how to save money on art supplies by choosing the materials that enhance your style.

Both beginners and seasoned artists will find this course rewarding.
