Want to make something exotic, yet simple for dinner?  Come and learn about the classical North African dish called Tajine.  It’s a slow-cooked stew of vegetables with fish or meat in a spice-infused sauce.  Tajine also refers to the earthenware pot in which the stew is both cooked and served.  We will also enjoy grilled peppers and tomatoes and, of course, a couscous.  See how it’s done and learn about the seasonings which are unique to this traditional way of cooking.  We will also sample a variety of North African sweets for dessert.

Instructor: Françoise Meunier trained in the hotel and cooking school in Toulouse.  In 1997, she opened one of the first private cooking studios in Paris.  Her practical approach and easy-to-follow demonstrations will teach you how to reproduce delicious French and ethnic dishes at home.
