Photo Wikimedia CommonsFrom the Place Denfert-Rochereau to Montparnasse, the 14th arrondissement is one of Paris's hidden treasures, full of charm and famed for its writers and artists but a little off the beaten track even for Parisians. In the company of an experienced Paris Greeters guide, we will discover the richness of this area which was the cultural and artistic centre of the world during the Jazz Age, where artists were - and still are to some extent - everywhere. As well as iconic sites we will discover corners which appear innocuous but which hide a passionate history.

There is no charge for this tour but members are recommended to offer a donation of 10€, payable directly to the guide.

The tour will be in French and English.

Meet at: Place Denfert-Rochereau (facing the Lion de Belfort  outside the main exit of Métro station Denfert-Rochereau).

About the leader: Eric Lacroix is a volunteer tour guide with the association Paris Greeters. Having spent his career in banking, Eric is now retired. He has conducted tours for seven years.
