Unleash Your Creativity in the Heart of Paris

Step outside the studio and into the city as we take drawing and color into the open air. This relaxed outdoor session is designed to inspire creativity, encourage playful experimentation, and help you observe the world with an artist’s eye. Perfect for those looking to practice sketching and painting in a casual, supportive setting.
What to Expect:
- Urban Sketching & Color Play: Capture the energy of Paris through quick sketches and expressive watercolor studies.
- Creative Freedom: Explore techniques in a more spontaneous way, using what you’ve learned in a fun, pressure-free environment.
- Guidance & Feedback: The instructor will be available to offer tips, answer questions, and provide inspiration as you work.
- Connect with Fellow Artists: Enjoy a shared artistic experience, exchanging ideas and techniques with other participants.
Requirements:
This session is open to all levels. Participants from the
first class can bring their materials, and new attendees
should bring their own sketchbook, pencils, and colors.
We suggest you wear comfortable clothing and consider bringing a yoga mat or towel if you’d like to sit on the grass.
This session is open to all, whether you’re joining for the first time or continuing from our 'Foundations of Drawing & Color' workshop, where we covered the basics of technique and composition.
About the Instructor
Andrea Ipaktchi is an award-winning artist, performer, writer and traveler from Connecticut and based in Paris. Her art incorporates mixed media such as ink, encaustic, and printmaking techniques. She explore themes of love, loss, belonging, and transformation.This results in moody, figurative pieces. She also creates comics. She holds a BFA degree from Parsons School of Design.
