This walk will appeal to people who like getting out of Paris to visit the countryside.

Crécy is a picturesque town in the heart of the Brie region, containing medieval towers and an inner series of canals. It was popular with artists including Corot, who lived there. The nearby Eglise de La Chapelle was built in the 13th century and is a beautiful Gothic building.

There are several restaurants in the town serving lunch for those who are interested.

The visit is suitable for those with limited mobility.

Crécy is within the Île-de-France transit zone, so your Navigo pass will get you there.

When registering, please provide a phone number where you can be reached during the walk so that the organizer can reach you.

Bryan Harty has lived in Paris for 6 years and is a regular participant in WICE conversation classes. He enjoys the countryside and likes visiting old towns outside of Paris.
