At La Parisienne on Avenue de la Motte-Picquet, a cheerful luncheon brings together citizens of the UK and Ireland for a nice meal, better stories, and gently competitive nostalgia. Between courses , guests swap tales of heroic battles with the weather, long-lost pubs, and the eternal quest for a proper cup of tea.

It’s a warm affair, equal parts gentle ribbing and genuine affection, where for a few hours everyone can feel a bit closer to home—wherever that may be.
