Adobe Lightroom is one of the most efficient and powerful tools available for getting the most from your digital images. Although Photoshop is ultimately more flexible, it is also significantly more costly and complex to use. The new Lightroom version 5 gives you everything you need to transform your images.

This course will take you through both the fundamental and advanced features of Lightroom 5, from the crucial steps of organising your library and adding keywords, through to fine detailed adjustments in your images.

No prior experience is needed. It's recommended to bring a laptop with Lightroom 5 installed (available on 30 day free trial if you don't already have it), as there will be some practise exercises during the course as well as the opportunity to receive assistance with any questions or issues.

By the end of the course you will understand all the image adjustments that Lightroom has to offer and be able to make effective and subtle changes to significantly enhance your own images.

Instructor: Alastair Arthur is a portrait photographer and founder of the recently launched digital magazine Image Inspiration. His photography of Paris is featured on the cover of Fuji X magazine and you can see more of his work at www.alastairarthur.com.
