By Rosemary Flannery
We will explore decorative sculpture across Parisian facades from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. This one-hour talk will cover the architecture and embellishment of historic buildings from the gothic, Renaissance, classical, baroque, rococo and 20th century periods. Notre Dame, the Cluny Museum, the French Institute and the Hotel de Biron will be featured as we discover how the spirit of the times is captured in ornamental art in Paris.
