What do most people associate with the word “Paris”?

Love and Food, of course!  If food is your thing, you will certainly want to hear about both the history and the stories concerning the famous cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu, which was founded in Paris in 1895. Le Cordon Bleu is now internationally known across 20 countries, with 50 schools which host 20,000 students annually, all psyched to learn French cooking from a dynamic team of Chef Instructors dedicated to disseminating their culinary savoir faire. Thanks to Sandra Messier -- for 14 years a key figure in the school -- you will hear about these stars of the stove, the glamorous people who have attended, and how the culinary world has evolved in recent years due to the profession’s media coverage.

About the Instructor

Marketing and Communications Manager at Le Cordon Bleu, Lima-born Sandra Messier has always worked in luxury tourism and hotel and restaurant management – for 12 years in the U.S. and since 2000 in Paris.  Her main missions at the school now include the coordination of campaigns to launch new culinary arts and hospitality programs, which, along with her press and public relations activities, contribute to furthering the worldwide reputation of Le Cordon Bleu.
