Sometimes the fame of the red Burgundies bumps the whites to the back of the stage. But these wines are truly stars. Let’s let them show their stuff. Will there be butter, pears, seashells and popcorn? You bet … and how. Join us as we explore what the whites from this region named “red” can do.
Many consider these sometimes fat, sometimes steely Chardonnay-based whites the greatest in the world. We’ll taste the full range of styles and judge for ourselves whether these excellent wines are worth the high prices they command.

Instructor:  Thomas Boothe’s, extensive knowledge and passion for wine and his innovative teaching style have been fueled through work and study in a variety of wine-related fields.
