In our previous wire wrapping class, we learned how to use two different techniques to make dangle earrings and a bracelet. In the following  classes, these techniques, as well as the one learned in the Y Moi beading class, will be used to make a series of rings in one and a necklace and matching bracelet in  the other.

Give me a Ring will teach you how to use all three wire wrapping techniques you have learned to create a wide variety of ring designs. You will make a collection of stackable and channel rings, often featured in fashion magazines, as well as a host of other simple rings. In this creative, convivial and collaborative atmosphere Allison Wiley will show you how easy, fun and affordable it is to make a variety of rings for yourself and others. If you agree with actress Elizabeth Taylor, that, " a woman can never have enough rings" then you must not miss this class.

Making Attachments of various kinds are the focus of all of our classes. In this aptly named class, you are invited to further hone your new found wire wrapping skills by creating a lovely necklace and matching bracelet similar to the ones shown in a creative, convivial and collaborative atmosphere with your fellow members. If that old adage, practice makes perfect is true, then life might not always be perfect, but your jewelry designs might very well be.

Students can expect to:

  • Receive all materials required to create and complete both projects
  • Learn how to use various techniques to create a series of simple ring designs
  • Learn and adapt these techniques to create a fabulous necklace and bracelet combo
  • Leave class with a completed series of rings and a necklace and bracelet respectively
