Learning a language is good for your brain!

Learning a language is good for your brain, practical, and is fun!

The many cognitive benefits of learning languages are undeniable. People who speak more than one language have improved memory, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enhanced concentration, ability to multitask, and better listening skills. Learning a second language has been shown to decrease the risk of developing dementia and improving decision-making skills. Continued learning, is a great way to stay to make friends and exchange cultural insight.

So why not learn online?! Along with language courses, I’ve personally taken several online classes and they are wonderful primary and supplemental forms for anyone looking to enrich their life. You’ll find carrying and supportive instructors and classmates at WICE.

We currently offer French, English, and German online courses at varying levels. Click here for more info >

And don’t forget WICE is hosting other talks, workshops, and events online, listed here. Our forum is also available for members to exchange thoughts and questions within our community.

Last, but not least, WICE is a great place to volunteer. Learn more here.
