A beautiful vegetable or salmon terrine is the perfect dish for easy summer entertaining, especially when served with a fresh garden salad and a glass of rosé.  A great advantage of a terrine is that it can be made in advance so you can enjoy time spent with your family and guests.  In this class, we will learn the secrets to preparing a lovely vegetable terrine and a delicious salmon terrine.  Plus, we will talk about other terrine variations so you can feature the bounty of the garden throughout the summer.  For desert, we will make a fruit tart taking advantage of what is fresh and available at the market.  You will use these basic recipes and techniques that we always learn in class to make your own creations for your friends and family throughout the summer.

Instructor: Françoise Meunier trained in the hotel and cooking school in Toulouse.  In 1997, she opened one of the first private cooking studios in Paris.  Her practical approach and easy-to-follow demonstrations will teach you how to reproduce delicious French and ethnic dishes at home.

Preregistration required by April 25, 2011.
