Each month, WICE will be hosting a lecture to explore the definition, history, highlights, themes, moods, settings and techniques of a specific genre of film making. We will examine how the genre has developed over time and the messages it can deliver. We will discuss some of the classics of the genre and what makes them so effective. Whether you're a film maker or critic, or just love going to the movies, find out more about the word of cinema.

Introducing the Film Lecture Series, this session will explore the medium of film and preview the upcoming topics.
