December is here! Time for merry and caring, and making the most of 2020. Let's keep things festive and connected as best we can. 

Workshops and classes continue through December and we've already begun to list courses for 2021. Next week, take a trip into Paris' past with an online discussion of  celebrated cocottes and courtesans of the 19th century – or stay in shape with our morning pilates or yoga classes from the comfort of your home. Expand your world while socially distancing with our online language courses. I mean, didn't Audrey Hepburn once say "Speaking Parisien is always a good idea"? Err, something like that!

A second trimester is forthcoming. We have many languages classes and activities online as well as fun interactive cooking courses that will make your holiday quarantine cozy and delicious. Oh my gosh, did you see there's a chocolate making class? You definitely need to get back to Paris maintenant!

Giving and giving back is so very rewarding, so why not give a special someone a WICE membership and/or a class!?? It’s a great way to not only give and there’s no need for wrapping paper or leaving the house for the post office.  Click here to register and give online >

Remote learning is fun and you join your friends online for talks, classes, and lectures online. Stay connected and stay healthy with WICE!

Well, here we are again, gang. Lockdowning. Yet, no worries because WICE is still here! Yippee!

Make this time a cozy time by preparing delicious home cooked meals or even for others that you can drop-off! Chef Alisa Morov will test your skills creating fabulous French dishes. Nom nom.

Then, converse with fellow WICE members and discover books together. Our Bilingual Book Group is a great way to stay connected. We're offering several wonderful reads including one of my favorite books,"Where the Crawdads Sing". Soooooo good. 

Lastly,  stay flexible and active with us online. We have a couple of pilates and yoga courses. They're fun to take together and you can do them in the comfort of your own home... anywhere!

As France enters a second lockdown, WICE is moving back online and continues to hold many online classes.

We currently have 25 courses scheduled over the coming months ranging from creative writing & literature, cultural studies, languages, food & cooking, health & lifestyle, as well as visual arts.

We know it is a very difficult time for everyone, so if your membership is coming up for renewal, we'd love you to renew - whether for a 12-month (€50.00) or 3-month (€25.00) subscription.

As a token of appreciation, all members (new or renewing) between now and December 31, 2020 are welcome to take a free class from the choice of: Symbols in painting; Ethiopia: A land of staggering richness; one week of participation in English Guided Discussion, French Guided Discussion; or one Pilates, Yoga or Art and Architecture class .

Your added contributions both financial and/or volunteering are also dearly welcome. And because of you, one of Paris’ oldest and most distinguish English speaking organizations, is surviving 2020!

I hope everyone is hanging in there and keeping their eye on the horizon. There's so much to continue to look forward to as we grow and move ahead towards the future. Learning and developing our interests and skills is always a good idea. Just like Paris! 

That's why WICE is really please to announce a new partnership with Maison Sajou – a wonderful embroidery haberdashery in Paris! We'll be featuring more workshops with them in the future. Please read more about it right here >

For those who like to fine stitch words together: There's the Paris Writers Workshop. Classes and workshops will run between July 5-12. Dip your quills and sharpen your pens towards developing poetry, fiction, and non fiction writing! Registration is still open!
